"The Pie Jesu in Fauré's
Requiem is notoriously difficult to perform; they say you
should never use it as an audition piece! Zoë
White performed this movement beautifully in the South Berkshire
Singers' performance of the Requiem on 21st June. Her tone was
warm and true and she sang it with great sensitivity.
Her contribution to the concert was also evident in her enthusiasm and
willingness to fit in with the rest of the choir and other performers.
Her whole attitude was quietly professional and she took great care to
look, as well as sound, good."
Jeremy Rawson, Music Director, South Berkshire Singers
"Years later he is given the chance to return
to earth for just one day to put things right for his unhappy wife Julie
Jordan, played here brilliantly by Zoë
White."
Bracknell and Wokingham Standard, from review of Carousel
"Another top effort came from Zoë
White's magnificent Elsie Maynard, who
fed off the dynamic jester in the early scenes, before showing her more
serious side after an anonymous marriage to Fairfax."
